This document tells you how to tweak the sounds used by X-Bomber when you use the "-sound" switch. SOUND EFFECT FILES: There are a number of "AU" audio files stored in the "sounds/" directory. explode.au ----- Played when a bomb goes off got.au --------- Played when a player grabs an upgrade invert.au ------ Played when an Invert is activated kicker.au ------ Played when a player kicks a bomb laugh.au ------- Death's entrance laugh levelend1.au --- / levelend2.au --- { Played at th end of a level levelend3.au --- { levelend4.au --- \ old_laugh.au --- Original, unenhanced version of Death's laugh ouch1.au ------- / ouch2.au ------- { Played when a player dies ouch3.au ------- \ pusher.au ------ Played when a player pushes a block warp.au -------- Played when a player warps All of these sounds and their files are described in "xbomber.c" at the top, similar to how graphics files are described (see "GRAPHICS.txt"). LEVEL SOUND FILES: There are also a collection of number sounds (created by "rsynth", I believe it was called) which are played at the beginning of levels. They are stored in the "sounds/numbers/" directory. These files are also described at the top of "xbomber.c".
