For the muted audio on the Pinebookpro (Ubuntu 20.04) 

wget http://45.76.81.249/Pinebook64/pinebook-pro/asound.state
sudo su 
mv asound.state /var/lib/alsa 
alsactl nrestore 
reboot 

Then you can turn up volume for the internal speakers
