All Tru64 5.1b binary/source code tarballs here are ready to extract 
and install, all programs are configured with /usr/local prefix 

$ tar -xvf package.tar 
$ cd package
# make install 


The Gnu Make - make-3.80.tar can be symlinked to /usr/local/bin/gmake 
to differentiate between Tru64 native make and Gnu Make 

Pyton 2.7.16 I had to use native CC compiler and GNU Make 
Make sure you define the natie CC=/ur/bin/cc and not GCC for this 
so extract the tarball and 
# gmake commoninstall 

Xephem-3.7.7 
sources are compiled, in order to run 
$ tar -xvf xephem-3.7.7.tar
$ cd xephem-3.7.7/GUI/xephem
$ ./xephem
