Binary bootstrap for the VAX NetBSD 8.0_BETA 

pkg.tar.gz 

Compiled for vax  bootstrap environment 
extract to /usr/pkg 

Add path to your .shrc 

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/pkg/bin
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/pkg/sbin

Add binary tgz packages via pkg_add command 

NetBSD-8_BETA-VAX.iso - installation CD iso with modified GENERIC kernel to reduce final size 
                        since official GENERIC does not boot on the SimH 
                        After installation, do not forget to copy over the /netbsd from the 
                        CD to the installation disk /dev/ra0a and replace the /dev/ra0a/netbsd
